Sweetie (the beautiful tabico) and Velvet (the sleek black kitty) are two gorgeous girls with the softest hearts. They’re incredibly sweet, though a little shy at first—but they warm up quickly once they realize they’re safe and loved.
These girls came from an abandoned home where the neighboring environment wasn’t kind to the cats. Thankfully, all of the kitties from that situation have now been rescued, and Sweetie and Velvet will never have to feel unsafe again. With patience, consistency, and kindness, they’ve begun to truly blossom.
While they may be cautious in new situations, with time they become much more comfortable with being petted and even picked up. As their confidence grows, their affectionate sides shine through, and they show just how loving they really are. Gentle attention, calm voices, and a peaceful home help them feel secure and happy.
Sweetie and Velvet share a special bond and find comfort in each other’s presence. Together, they’re learning that humans can be trusted and that love comes with warmth, safety, and care.These sweet girls would do best in a patient, loving home that will allow them the time they need to continue building confidence. In return, they’ll reward you with quiet affection, trust, and the joy of watching them fully come out of their shells.
