For Persephone and Adam, it was love at first sniff.
According to the old stories, Fate spins an invisible thread that connects souls who are meant to meet.
For Persephone and Adam, that thread led straight to foster care. When these two met, it didn't take long to realize fate had been at work all along. It started with a cautious nose boop, a curious glance, and a quiet promise neither of them knew they were making. Within days, they had become completely inseparable.
Now, where one goes, the other follows. If Adam decides it's time to investigate something interesting, Persephone isn't far behind, making sure her favorite boy stays close. When the adventures are over, you'll find them curled together in the sweetest cuddle puddle, grooming one another, sharing naps, and quietly reminding each other that home isn't a place—it's the one you love.
Their love isn't loud. It's patient. Steady. Comforting. It's found in the little things—a reassuring glance, a shared nap in the sunshine, and the quiet certainty that no matter what tomorrow brings, they'll face it together.
Meet Adam
At approximately 4-5 years old, Adam is a breathtaking Snowshoe Siamese with dazzling blue eyes, an enormous heart, and absolutely no respect for personal space...because clearly, your lap belongs to him. Adam has never met a stranger. He's wonderfully social and believes every human is simply a friend he hasn't cuddled yet. Whether you're reading, working, or relaxing on the couch, Adam would very much like to be involved. Preferably touching you. Adam is FIV-positive, but don't let those three little letters fool you. FIV+ cats can live long, happy, healthy lives, and Adam is living proof. (We have included a couple of links about FIV so you can learn more at the bottom). He's playful, affectionate, curious, and full of life. The only thing he's interested in catching is your attention.
Meet Persephone
Estimated to be 5-7 years old, Persephone is every bit as enchanting as her name suggests. Like the goddess she's named for, Persephone has a way of bringing warmth wherever she goes. Whether she's stretched out in a sunny window, curled up in your lap, or happily following you from room to room, she has a gift for making any place feel a little brighter. This beautiful gray tabby has one mission in life: To be adored. She has one of the loudest purrs you'll ever hear, and she's never shy about reminding you when she'd like a little extra attention. (Spoiler alert: the answer is almost always right now.)
Being held? Wonderful.
Being carried around? Even better.
Being the center of your universe?
Exactly as it should be.
When she's not soaking up affection, you'll often find her birdwatching from a sunny window or enjoying a perfectly timed afternoon nap. Persephone was found wandering alone after showing up at someone's home looking for food. While her past remains a mystery, one thing is crystal clear—she has never met a person she didn't want to love. Just like spring follows Persephone in the ancient myths, love seems to follow this Persephone wherever she goes.
